Synergy Coverage Solutions in the Community

December 23, 2013

Did you know almost a quarter of our business written include non-profit and charitable organizations? In addition to providing workers’ compensation services for these organizations, we also make it a priority to lend a helping hand to those in need. This holiday season, Synergy staff was grateful to participate in three great causes – Loaves & Fishes, Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, and Adopt a Family.

Synergy has participated in the Loaves & Fishes food drive for three consecutive years, with this year’s goal to double the amount of groceries donated in 2012. We were successful in our goal, gathering approximately 750+ pounds of groceries. All groceries collected are distributed from one of Mecklenburg County’s food pantries, directly to individuals and families in crisis at no charge. To learn more about Loaves & Fishes, visit:

Our staff also volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, a local organization providing food and grocery items to local charitable agencies. Synergy staff donated over 50 volunteer hours, helping to sort, inspect, box, and stock items for donation. To learn more about Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, visit:

Additionally, Synergy has adopted a family this holiday season, helping a family in need celebrate the holidays. We were able to help our adopted family (a single mother with two young boys – a 7-year-old and 7-month-old) by providing grocery needs, as well as gift items for the two young boys and the family.

Synergy Coverage Solutions is a big believer in giving back to the community, and we are grateful for the opportunity to extend a helping hand to those in need.
